LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE IN SPECTATOR SAFETY
The Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety qualification is suitable for those people who wish to work at events such as football matches, festivals, concerts and other publicly attended mass gatherings.
This accredited qualification is aimed at learners who wish to gain a nationally recognised and accredited qualification in spectator safety.
This qualification provides learners with the knowledge skills and understanding, to enable them demonstrate competence in Spectator Safety.
To complete this qualification, learners must have a recognised First Aid qualification before the qualification can be certificated.
COURSE UNITS
In order to achieve this certificate, learners are required to complete the following seven mandatory units:

Preparing for spectator events

Assisting with the movement of spectators
Dealing with crowd issues at events -
Managing and resolving conflicts

Dealing with incidents at spectator events

Supporting the work of the team and organisation

ASSESSMENT
After completing the underpinning knowledge for the qualification, learners will then be assessed against all the units at least once whilst working in the spectator safety environment.
