FIRST AID AT WORK (FAW)

This 3-day course is designed to give individuals a deeper insight into the roles and responsibilities of first aid. This course includes the emergency first aid content covered in the 1-day course, alongside in-depth training surrounding other injuries and incidents such as burns, broken bones and anaphylaxis.

Ideal for those looking to improve their first aid knowledge, designated workplace first aiders, or those working in environments where accidents and injuries may occur.

This is also a required qualification for Close Protection Top Up courses.

About
First Aid at Work Course

 About our FAW course

The First Aid at Work qualification provides learners with a comprehensive set of practical skills required by first aiders in high-risk workplaces in line with HSE guidelines. It meets the standards required to comply with Health and Safety and gives you the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.

You never know when you might need to give first aid, whether in the workplace or in public. If you have first aid training, this can be the difference that helps to save someone’s life.

For Close Protection Operatives, the First Aid at Work training qualification is mandatory in order to begin SIA security training. First Aid training must be completed before starting your chosen SIA training course.

If you are hoping to complete this course as part of your SIA training, visit your chosen security course page and choose a package that includes First Aid training.
