Gain your SIA Licence to start or continue work in the UK security industry.
To work in the security industry, you must first obtain an SIA approved qualification in order to learn the essential skills required to work as a security guard, before applying for your SIA Licence.
Whether you want to work as a Door supervisor, Security guard, Retail store guard, Business security guard, Event security or CCTV operator, our range of SIA security training courses and upskilling courses in Newcastle Upon Tyne enable you to work in your chosen field in the UK.
SIA licences are valid for 3 years and need to be manually renewed.
It’s a criminal offence to take on security work without a valid SIA licence. Anyone caught doing so can be punished with up to six months in prison, or a £5,000 fine.
